Italy sees modest uptick in BEV sales
Italy saw a slight uptick in its new passenger battery electric vehicle (BEV) registrations in February following a drop in the first month of the year. The country registered 5,007 BEVs, which is 3.1% higher than in February 2023.
However, data from local automaker association Anfia, also shows that sales of new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) cars tumbled last month by 16.6% to 4,662 units. Together, sales of these powertrains decreased by 7.4% on-year to 9,669 units. The…
