LITHIUM: AVZ Minerals signs offtake agreement with Ganfeng
Australian exploration firm AVZ Minerals has agreed a five-year lithium offtake deal with China’s Ganfeng Lithium, Kallanish reports.
Under the terms of the agreement, Ganfeng subsidiary, GFL International, will purchase 160,000 tonnes per year of spodumene concentrate from AVZ’s Manono lithium-tin project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). GFL also has the option to extend the deal for a further five years.
