Livent posts 50% on-year increase in Q2 profit amid optimistic outlook
US lithium chemical company Livent posted a 50% on-year increase in its net profit in the second quarter of 2023 to $90.2 million, albeit a quarterly decline of 21%, Kallanish reports.
Revenue for the April-June period rose 8% on-year to $235.8m, but volumes sold remained virtually flat compared to the previous quarter.
