NanoGraf opens silicon anode production facility in Chicago

US battery materials company NanoGraf has opened a large-volume silicon oxide manufacturing facility in Chicago, Illinois, Kallanish reports. The facility will manufacture NanoGraf’s proprietary silicon anode material, which is used in lithium-ion 18650 batteries instead of graphite.
