Narada Power reaches 140 Wh/kg sodium battery mass production capability
China’s storage company Zhejiang Narada Power Source announced its newly developed sodium-ion battery product has reached mass production capability, Kallanish learns.
This battery product uses high-stability sodium cathodes and high-pressure hard carbon anodes. The energy density is 140 watt-hours/kilogram, and the cycle life is 3,000 times. It supports 5C charging and discharging rates and can operate in extremely low temperatures of up to -40 Celsius.&nbs…
