Netherlands becomes only EU importer of Russian copper
EU imports of Russian refined copper dropped 93% on-year in November 2023, with the Netherlands remaining the only importer in the block, Kallanish learns.
According to data from Eurostat, imports reached 1,083 tonnes, which is also 79% lower than in the previous month. The entire volume of Russian refined copper was imported into the Netherlands. However, the country’s purchases were 60% lower than in October.
