NICKEL: China-backed nickel plant shuts down in Myanmar
The China-backed Tagaung Taung nickel-processing plant in Sagaing Province, Myanmar, has halted production because of an outage at its major electricity source, Kallanish notes.
Tigyaing Township People’s Defence Force declared responsibility for bombing three electric pylons that supply the facility.
