Nickel Industries achieves record nickel output, sales
Australian miner Nickel Industries has achieved record nickel output and sales in the December quarter, Kallanish notes.
The firm sold 34,427 nickel metal tonnes sold in October-December period, which is 18.8% higher than the 28,978 t sold in the previous quarter. The sales volume consisted of 29,166 t in nickel pig iron (NPI) and 5,261 t in nickel metal in matte – both Class II nickel.
