Nio to construct 1,000 battery swapping stations
Chinese automaker Nio announced it plans to add another 1,000 battery swapping stations and 20,000 charging piles for electric vehicles in 2024, Kallanish learns.
By the end of 2024, Nio aims for over 3,310 battery swapping stations and over 41,000 charging piles in total.
At the same time, the company said in 2023 it constructed 399 highway swapping stations bringing the total to 747. It will continue expanding in this area.
