Nissan dominates the Russian EV fleet
Japanese carmaker Nissan accounts for around half of the Russian electric vehicle fleet as of 1 July, Kallanish learns Autostat data.
According to the agency, there were 25,800 EVs in Russia, 12,400 of which are Nissan models. The second most popular EV brand in the country, although far behind the leader, is Tesla with 4,200 units and a 16% market share. The third place is occupied by Volkswagen with 1,400 EVs.
