RARE EARTH: Energy Fuels acquires Brazil heavy mineral sand properties
Energy Fuels says it has acquired 58.3 square miles of heavy mineral rare earth sands in Brazil, Kallanish reports.
The Colorado-based company says the project in the state of Bahia could feed the company’s White Mesa Mill in Utah with rare-earth-element and uranium-bearing monazite sand for decades. The company is acquiring 17 mineral concessions between the towns of Prado and Caravelas in what it calls the Bahia project. Binding agreements have been signed…
