Romania’s EV sales continue to increase in August
Romanian new battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales increased 65% on-year during January-August to 10,612 units, according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA).
The volume surpasses the 10,000 BEVs registered in the country last year. In August alone, 1,608 BEV models entered Romanian roads, representing an annual increase of 78.5%, Kallanish notes.
