Russian BEV sales hit another record in August
Russian battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales increased in August to a new record, as overall passenger car registrations posted a big drop, reports.
According to data from Russian analytics agency Autostat, new BEV registrations rose to 1,474 units, which is 8.2 times higher than a year ago. In the first eight months of 2023, Russians purchased 6,995 new BEVs, which is around 4.4 times more than in the same period a year ago, Kallanish notes.
