Russian used BEV sales hit another record in August
Russia’s sales of second-hand battery electric vehicles (BEVs) increased in August to a new record, as overall passenger car registrations posted a big drop, Kallanish notes.
According to data from Russian analytics agency Autostat, used BEV registrations rose to 1,204 units, up by 67% on-year. In the first eight months of 2023, Russians purchased 6,919 second-hand BEVs, 19% more than in January–August last year.
