Snam to allocate €100m to H2 investment in €11.5 billion plan
Italian energy company Snam is to invest about €100 million ($108m) in infrastructure for hydrogen though to 2027, Kallanish learns from a company presentation.
As part of its strategic plan, about €20m will be dedicated to the engineering phase of the hydrogen SoutH2 Corridor. “With this project … Snam will be an enabler of the development of a cross-border hydrogen market, in partnership with other European TSOs,” the firm says.
