Spain’s La Robla green H2 project secures EU funding
Spanish gas utilities Naturgy and Enagás Renovable say their La Robla green hydrogen project will receive €42 million ($45.1m) of financing from the EU Innovation Fund, Kallanish reports.
The 280-megawatt project in León province was first announced in February 2023, with an estimated investment of €485m and start-up in 2026. The plant will be located at a former thermal power plant owned by Naturgy, which will be dismantled this year.
