Stellantis announces expansion in EV component production
European carmaker Stellantis said Monday it will expand its production of electric drive modules (EDMs) to accommodate a growing portfolio electrification, Kallanish notes.
The undisclosed volume will be ramped up in the group’s plants in France (Tremery-Metz) and the US (Komomo, Indiana). In addition, the company will start producing EDMs at its plant in Szentgotthard, Hungary. Details on production volumes and investment sizes have not been revealed.
