Swedish boatmaker Candela gets €24m in fundraising round
Swedish electric boat producer Candela has snagged €24 million ($27.16m) in its latest investment round, Kallanish reports.
The new funds - led by an investment from extant investor EQT Ventures and TEDtalks curator Chris Anderson - will be used to triple the company’s research and development budget. It will also be put towards improving automation and beefing up its sales force.
