Talon Metals’ processing facility gains $114.8m from US DOE
Talon Metals, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Talon Nickel, has signed a definitive agreement with the US Department of Energy for $114.8 million in grant funding.
The funding, created by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, will support Talon’s forthcoming battery minerals processing facility. Set to be built near Beulah, North Dakota, the facility will produce nickel concentrate to be used in cathodes for EV batteries.
