Tata to use JLR’s EMA platform for its premium EVs
Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd (TPEM) plans to use Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) Electrified Modular Architecture (EMA) platform to develop its premium pure electric vehicles series, Avinya, for a royalty payment.
TPEM, the passenger EV subsidiary of Indian conglomerate Tata Motors, introduced the Avinya brand in 2022. Based on Tata’s Gen 3 architecture, the vehicle will offer a minimum of 500 kilometres of range in less than 30 minutes of charging. …
