UK announces £89m joint funding for new EV technologies
The UK Department for Business and Trade announced on Monday £89 million ($108.57m) in joint government and industry funding to help boost the country’s net-zero tech capabilities.
A total of 20 “cutting edge” new electric vehicle technology projects were awarded in four competitions through the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC). The government will invest £45.2m and the automotive industry a further £42.7m, Kallanish learns.
