UK starts £20m funding for hydrogen-based transport projects
Innovate UK, a government agency to promote innovation, launched on Thursday a £20 million ($22.35m) competition on hydrogen application in transport, Kallanish reports.
The funding will enable industry to harness the power of hydrogen in new transport projects. Businesses and research groups will collaborate to discover how hydrogen can be used as a reliable fuel for buses, delivery vehicles, and heavy good vehicles.
