Umicore to use Microsoft’s AI platform to scale battery materials R&D
Belgium-based Umicore has tapped Microsoft to accelerate and scale its battery materials technologies development with the use of an artificial intelligence platform, Kallanish reports.
The cooperation agreement signed at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos will benefit from Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service, “extended with a multitude of unpublished, specific scientific AI models,” Umicore says.
