US DoD backs Talon Nickel to improve domestic nickel supply
The US Department of Defense (DoD) has agreed to provide $20.6 million to Talon Nickel to help increase the country’s nickel production, Kallanish reports.
The funds, arranged through the department’s Manufacturing Capability Expansion and Investment Prioritization (MCEIP) office, will be used to advance nickel exploration and mineral resource definition of the Tamarack Intrusive Complex (TIC) in central Minnesota.
