US DOE awards $131m to EV-oriented R&D projects
In the first three weeks of 2024, the US government awarded several hundred million dollars for EV improvements across the states, Kallanish reports.
On 18 January, the US Department of Energy announced that more than $131 million would be granted to advance EV research and development (R&D) opportunities in the US. Twenty-seven projects were selected for funding through the DOE’s Vehicle Technologies Office, representing $71m in awards.
