Vale confirms confidential nickel supply agreements with Tesla
Electric vehicle giant Tesla has secured a multi-year deal with Brazilian Vale for the supply of nickel, says Bloomberg this week, citing people familiar with the matter. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Last year, Tesla ceo Elon Musk promised large supply contracts with companies able to produce nickel in an environmentally friendly way, Kallanish notes.
