Verkor secures €2 billion for Dunkirk battery gigafactory
European EV battery maker Verkor said Thursday it secured over €2 billion ($2.1 billion) in financing. This includes an €850 million Series C funding round, €600 million debt from the European Investment Bank and €650m subsidies from French authorities, Kallanish notes.
