Volkswagen triples EV sales in 2020
Volkswagen has recorded a three-fold increase in global electric vehicle (EV) sales throughout 2020, Kallanish reports.
The German automaker reported total EV sales of 212,000 last year, an increase of 158% compared to the year prior. EV sales represented a 4% share of the company’s total vehicle sales of 5.3 million throughout 2020.
