VW Group manages to lift deliveries by 65% in Q1
Germany’s Volkswagen Group saw its Q1 all-electric vehicle (BEV) deliveries rise 65% globally, despite supply struggles for semiconductors and wire harnesses.
Some 99,100 BEVs were delivered by the end of March – of which 59% were in Europe, 29% were in China and 8% were in the US, Kallanish reports. Chinese deliveries increased over four-fold compared to the 6,200 units delivered in Q1 2021.
