China pushes forward with steelmaker environmental control
China has been very busy with its environmental improvement programmes, Kallanish notes.
Around 380 iron and steel producers in China had received emissions’ approval permits by 12 February 2018, excluding steel processors or iron alloy producers. The costs for obtaining an approval are mainly administrative but come alongside a number of other related reforms.
