Metehe acquires Plannja after SSAB-Rautaruukki deal
Steel profile manufacturer, Metehe has acquired Plannja Oy, the steel sheet processor belonging to Sweden’s SSAB, Kallanish learns. Both processors are in Joutseno, Southern Finland. The deal is part of the divestment remedies that were requested by the European Commission, in order to allow Rautaruukki to join forces with SSAB.
