Adverse weather forces Ahmsa to suspend output
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) says adverse winter weather conditions have forced it to temporarily halt operations at both its steel and mining units, Kallanish notes.
Mexico suffered on 15 February one of its largest general electricity outages in the last 30 years. This interrupted power supply in 11 states for almost 12 hours.
