Ahmsa, Grupo Villacero extend merger talks
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) confirms it has extended the term of negotiations with Mexican long products processor and steel distributor Grupo Villacero on a partnership agreement, Kallanish notes.
The agreement, aimed at the capitalisation and financial restructuring of the company is well advanced, Ahmsa says in a security filing to the Mexican Stock Exchange on 8 September.
