Ahmsa completes maintenance work on blast furnace 5
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) has completed a preventative maintenance program at its main blast furnace number 5 (BF5), Kallanish learns from a company statement. BF5 is the steelmaker`s largest furnace with capacity to produce 6,500 tonnes/day of pig iron.
