Ahmsa evaluates cold rolling mill No.2 sale: unions
Mexican steelmaker Altos Hornos de Mexico (Ahmsa) is evaluating the sale of its cold rolling mill number 2, causing concern among local labour unions. The rumour follows Ahmsa’s announcement to implement cost-reduction measures, as well to divest some of its assets at end-July without specifying which ones, Kallanish notes.
