Ahmsa invests in painting line for galvanized sheets
Mexican steel producer Ahmsa, has announced its intention to build a new painting line for galvanized sheets for the construction and white goods' sector at its mill in Monclova, Kallanish notes.
The new line will be able to process 90,000 tonnes of sheets annually and will be supplied by the Korean engineering company PACO. Ahmsa will invest MXN 400 million ($20.9m) in the unit, the first of its kind in Mexico.
