Amhsa`s shareholders revoke selling majority stake to Villacero
The Mexican Grupo Acerero del Norte (GAN) which controls steelmaker Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) has revoked an agreement to sell a 55% portion of its 64% stake in the company to Alianza Minerometalúrgica Internacional (AMI), a group of investors headed by businessman Julio Villareal, president of steelmaker Villacero Group.
GAN argued that on 17 August, AMI was informed of the agreement's unenforceability, resulting from the breach of clauses.…
