ArcelorMittal Mexico resumes new pickling line project
ArcelorMittal says it is renewing its investment plan in Mexico with the construction of a new pickling line at the Lázaro Cárdenas steel complex, Kallanish notes. The company is also considering installing a second furnace in its new rolling mill that will allow it to increase the capacity of hot rolled coils from slab from the current 2.5 million tonnes/year to almost 4.5m t/y.
