ArcelorMittal Pecém slab exports rise in October
Brazil’s ArcelorMittal Pecém (AMP) saw slab exports grow month-on-month in October, Kallanish notes. Shipments were also higher compared with the same period in 2022.
According to data issued by the local port authority, AMP’s October shipments abroad reached 285,258 tonnes, up by 37,558t, or 15.1%, on-month. This volume was 47.6% higher versus the 193,230t shipped a year earlier.
