ArcelorMittal Poland adds zinc, aluminium, magnesium coating line

ArcelorMittal Poland (AMP) is installing a new PLN 40 million ($9.9m) line for zinc, aluminium and magnesium (ZAM) coil coating at its Krakow cold rolling mill, Kallanish notes. The “Optigal” coating gives better plasticity and corrosion resistance than existing alloys, the steelmaker says.
