Argentina primary iron output hits five-year high

Argentinian primary iron production rose in October for a fourth consecutive month. The increase is mainly explained by higher sponge iron output, Kallanish learns from national steel association Cámara Argentina del Acero (CAA). Primary iron production was 338,100 tonnes in October, up 32,100t from September and 23.1% more than the 274,800t produced in the same month last year.
