Arvedi fast-tracks AST revamp
Acciai Speci Terni (AST)’s €100 million ($109m) new line purchased in Bahrain is on its way and will be operational by the end of this year, Kallanish learns from the Umbria regional government and a source close to the company.
AST will install its new stainless hot and cold rolling lines this year and is sourcing second-hand technology from a defunct steel mill in Bahrain. Equipment maker Danieli will install and fully revamp the lines.
