Arvedi commissions new shredder
Italian steelmaker Arvedi has commissioned its new shredder at Acciaieria Arvedi in Cremona, Italy. The equipment supplied by Danieli’s Centro Recycling division will process almost 1 million tonnes/year of light-to-medium scrap and sheared light demolition scrap.
Arvedi is one of the largest scrap buyers in Italy, procuring material domestically but also from other European nations, and importing large seaborne scrap from third countries, Kallanish notes.
