Australia funds hydrogen and low emissions steel research
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has awarded AUD 59.1 million ($38.6m) in funding to support research and development (R&D) and commercialisation activities covering renewable hydrogen and low carbon emissions in iron and steel production, Kallanish notes.
The funding list now contains 21 projects. The research teams are from Australia’s top universities, research organisations, start-ups and companies.
