Australian iron miner orders electric locomotive

Australian iron ore miner Roy Hill and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based mobility company Wabtec have inked a purchase agreement for an electric heavy haul locomotive, Kallanish learns from a Roy Hill release.  Financial terms were not disclosed. The FLXdrive battery-electric locomotive will be delivered in 2023.
