Bahrain local rebar rises, import quotes to surface
Bahrain's Universal rolling (Unirol) has increased its rebar list price to BD 240/tonne ($638) delivered on 60 days credit.
Last week, the Qatari major issued its rebar price at $605/t delivered to Bahrain, while traders booked from the Dammam-based, Saudi mill at $600/t (SAR 2,250) delivered. The Emirati major sealed September-delivery deals to Bahrain at AED 2,255/t ($614), notes Kallanish.
