Bahrain's Unirol prepares rebar price increase
Bahrain's rebar re-roller Universal Rolling (Unirol) is prepared to increase its domestic rebar prices for January deliveries to BD 252-255/tonne ($672-678) from BD 245/t in December due to the rise in billet prices. The rebar prices are on a 60-day credit basis and delivered to the buyer's yard, notes Kallanish.
Retail sales have slowed in the last week, which will likely continue into the second week of January at BD 255-260/t delivered on credit.
