Baowu Zhanjiang offshoot posts profit for 2017
Baowu Iron & Steel Group’s southern China Zhenjiang subsidiary has reported profits of CNY 2.31 billion ($367.92) last year, according to the Zhenjiang Daily.
The site has been fully commissioned since August 2017. Local government data show it produced 8.287 million tonnes of iron and 8.47mt of steel, up by 48.3% and 52.5% year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
