Benelux scrap prices recover, flow remains restricted
Scrap prices in the Benelux have increased, following the correction seen in Turkish scrap values earlier this month.
On Monday, Benelux dock prices were pegged mostly at around €300-305/tonne ($326-332) delivered, up from €290-300/t a week earlier.
However, as flow is yet to improve, a few exporters who are in urgent need of completing their vessels are seen paying even higher prices.
