Bolivia mulls cancelling Sinosteel El Mutún project agreement
The future of the first Bolivian steelmaking complex in El Mutún is in doubt as state-owned Empresa Siderúrgica Mutún (ESM) and Chinese-owned Sinosteel could enter a legal dispute, Kallanish notes. ESM says it is considering cancelling its agreement with Sinosteel for the project due to delays in construction work.
